March 31      HEATHER PARKER-LEWIS: The Simon’s Town families of Green, Kerwan and Glynn, as told by my grandmother. Heather, a writer and researcher, will speak on what she has found out about her grandmother’s family.

April 28         RICHARD BULLEN: “Tweedledum and Tweedledee”: the story of the military careers of two Frenchmen , who both ended up fighting on opposite sides in the Boer War.  Lt.Col. Richard Bullen who served in the Middlesex Yeomanry during World War II, has found this a fascinating study of the psychological development of these two men, who never met

 

May 26          BROOKES AND JEANNE HEYWOOD: How to survive the Bermuda Triangle, and other yachting adventures. 

 

June 30    MALCOLM STUART-FINDLAY:  Early motoring in the Cape Peninsula. Malcolm, together with the late Bob Johnston, were both members of the Crankhandle Club, and shared their passion for early motoring.

 

July 28           ANDRE WESSELS:  “The Naval Museum in Simon’s Town”
